Dandara Temple

60 km north of Luxor . A Greco- Roman temple . one of the most preserved in Egypt . 

Abydos

A 3-hour drive from Luxor to the north . considered to be the pearl of the ancient Egyptian art . the temple had been built during the time of Seti 1st , completed by his son Ramses 2nd approx. 1300 b.c. 

It is a Temple which still keeps most of it's colors . 

Esna Temple

50 km south of Luxor . A small Greco-Roman temple . with amazing columns inside .

Edfu Temple

A 2- hour drive south of Luxor . one of the most preserved temples in Egypt . dedicated to the God Hours. 

Kom ombo temple

40 minutes south of Edfu temple . the temple is by the Nile , with a museum of mummified crocodiles inside.  

Philai temple

Philai temple is on an island in the city of Aswan , south of Luxor . 

The Unfinished Obelisk

Unfinished obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut . 42 mts long , and about 1200 tons . 

Kalabsha Temple

one of the many temples that have been relocated , after building the high dam in Aswan . 

St.Simeon monastery

one of the really amazing old monasteries in Egypt . dates back to the 7th century .
