Philai Temple 

The island of Philai was famed for it's beauty and was known as the " Pearl of Egypt "
several temples were built on the island the main survived ones are dedicated to the worship of Osiris , Isis & their son Hours . they date back to the Greek & Roman era . and had been reused again by the Copts as churches
