Queen Hatshepsut temple 

Queen Hatshesut is one of the most colorful figures in the history of Egypt . 
And her mortuary temple is unique in it's design , still has beautiful colored scenes .
The temple dates back to roughly 1500 Bc . 

The TEMPLE

 

 

The temple of the queen is on the west bank of Luxor is on the same ax with Karnak temple on the east 

the other side of the hill is the valley of the kings .

here we see the columns with the head of the goddess as a face of a lady and cows ears

God Anubis sanctuary

 

 

This room is the most beautiful in the temple . here you see wonderfully vivid colors 
it's on the right of the second terrace 
here you see a beautiful vulture for protection .

The 3rd floor

The statues of the queen Hatshepsut in a mummy form ( crossed arms , legs beside each other & curved beard ) holding in her hands the key of life and the royal symbols

THE SUN CULT COMPLEX & CHAPEL

On the third floor of the temple , the polish team of excavation & restoration opened recently ; in 2016 the complex . which have the big alter for sacrificing to the sun god , and also the chapel of the high priest which still catch some of really amazing colors .
