For souvenirs it's mainly up to the persons taste , but I am here to tell you about the different types of souvenirs you gonna find in Egypt , so you can have an overall idea :-

2- alabaster vases or statues , also granite and basalt , but the are kind of heavy , buy it only from the alabaster factories in the west bank of Luxor .

3- jewelry you can have your name in a gold or silver cartouche , also you can have really nice pendants of Egyptian symbols .

4- Perfumes : they sell the essence , so it can stays for years with you . 5- rugs , with Egyptian patterns
